Summer Activities
Dear Life
Force members and Parents:
Please find attached the Summer Event Flyer’s along with the
appropriate permission slips. Look them over and check off
the trips you want to attend! Once you have made your
decision(s) please submit your payment along with the
required permission slip. All trips are limited so get your
spot secured as soon as possible!
Youth… last summer you asked that Life Force continue to
meet over the summer. Your wish is granted!! We will
continue to meet every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. The
summer format will be a little different than during the
school year. Your second request was to have more day trips
of which you made several requests. We have a trip every
week!
Parents… transportation for all trips will be via the
church mini-bus. This allows me to take 12 teens and three
chaperons for a total of 15 passengers. Many of these trips
will have more than 12 youth signing up to go. This
requires me to limit who goes on the trip or ask for your
help in car pooling for those events that get over booked.
If you can drive for any of the events, please complete the
drivers section on the permission slip of that event. IF
drivers are needed I will contact those who have indicted
they are available to help. HOWEVER, if no one steps up,
the trip will be cut off with the first 12 youth who
submitted both their money and permission slips in a first
come first serve manner. In addition to the transportation
issue, there is the required adult/youth ratio set by the
church. I will need one adult to go with me on each day
trip. This will keep everything within set guidelines.
Again, please indicate if you would be available to be a
chaperone during our summer events.
This summer looks to be full of fun and adventure and I look
forward to assisting our youth in Following Our Risen Christ
Everywhere! Life Force!
